วันที่ 5 สิงหาคม 2568 “กองทัพอากาศ” ออกมาเรียกร้องให้ทางการกัมพูชาเร่งดำเนินการค้นหาร่างทหารที่เสียชีวิตและสูญหายพร้อมแจ้งแก่ญาติอย่างเป็นทางการ โดยเผยว่า กัมพูชาต้องเคารพศักดิ์ศรีของเหล่าทหาร เก็บคืนร่างหรือแจ้งสถานะต่อครอบครัวอันเป็นที่รัก ตามธรรมเนียม และกฎหมายสิทธิมนุษยชนระหว่างประเทศ อย่าห่วงเพียงผลประโยชน์ของผู้นำประเทศเท่านั้น
ด้วยสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งที่เกิดขึ้น ทำให้มีทหารกัมพูชาหลายรายสูญหายระหว่างการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ ซึ่งบางรายอาจเสียชีวิตในสนามรบ เพื่อเป็นเกียรติและแสดงความเคารพต่อการเสียสละของทหารเหล่านั้น ขอเรียกร้องให้ทางการกัมพูชาเร่งดำเนินการค้นหาร่างแจ้งเสียชีวิต/สูญหายแก่ญาติอย่างเป็นทางการ เพื่อให้ครอบครัวได้รับทราบ และได้ภาคภูมิใจในเกียรติยศของผู้ที่เสียชีวิตในฐานะทหารผู้กล้าอย่างสมเกียรติ พร้อมทั้งเยียวยาอย่างเหมาะสม

The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) has called on Cambodia to urgently search for the bodies of soldiers to return them to their families, criticizing them for not only being concerned with the interests of their country’s leaders, but also urging them to respect the dignity of the soldiers.
5 August 2025 – The Royal Thai Air Force has called on Cambodian authorities to urgently search for the bodies of dead and missing soldiers and officially inform their families, stating that
Cambodia must uphold the dignity of its fallen soldiers by recovering their remains or formally notifying their families of their status, in accordance with international humanitarian and human rights law. The lives and dignity of those who served must not be disregarded in the pursuit of political interests.
Amid ongoing tensions, a number of Cambodian soldiers have gone missing in action, with some believed to have lost their lives on the battlefield. To honor their sacrifice, we urge the Cambodian authorities to take immediate action to recover the remains or to officially confirm the status of the missing or deceased to their families. Such acknowledgment enables families to grieve, to take pride in the service of their loved ones, and to receive the recognition and support they deserve.
